Gary Steven Schroeder, 59, of South Bend, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday morning. Gary was born to Kenneth and Beatrice (Green) Schroeder on August 18th, 1955, in Mishawaka. He graduated from Penn High School in 1973 and attended Ivy Tech Community College. On November 22, 1975, he married his sweetheart, Patricia (McFarland) at First Baptist Church in Mishawaka. He worked as a ASE Certified Master Technician for Whiteford, Kenworth since 1995. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Mishawaka where he taught Sunday School, served for many years on the Deacon Board, and helped wherever he was needed. He was an avid fly fisherman and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Pat and his daughters; Mandi (Keith) Flatt and Beth (Cory) Fecher; his grandchildren, Micah (11), Halle(9) and Eli (7) Flatt and Izabella (7), Harper (3), and Lincoln (3) Fecher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his mother-in-law, Willadene McFarland. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Schroeder. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday at First Baptist Church, Mishawaka, 724 North Main Street, Mishawaka. Friends will be received from 4 until 8 pm on Friday at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka and for one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the church. Memorial Contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Mishawaka.
Kathryn Ann Graham, 74, of East 16th Street, Mishawaka, passed away at her home on Monday, June 8th, 2015. She was born in Plymouth, Indiana on September 11th, 1939 to William and Evelyn (Feitz) Nicholas. She graduated from Madison Township High School and went on to attend Deconess School of Nursing in St. Louis, Missouri. Kathryn was a Registered Nurse for over 30 years. She worked the majority of the time at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. She was a member of St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka. Katy loved spending time with her family and grandkids. She loved getting to know people and was a loyal friend and good neighbor. She was an avid Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame fan. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, “stitching” , and watching movies. She is survived by her mother, Evelyn Nicholas of Mishawaka. Four children: Patricia (Mark) Craig of Schoolcraft, Michigan, William (Muna) Graham of Osceola, Elizabeth Clark of Niles, Michigan and Aimee (Jay) McLaren of Edmond, Oklahoma. Three sisters: Sandy Zeiger of South Bend, Sharon (Gary) Wells of Beaver Creek, Ohio and Diane (Joseph) Furore. Thirteen grandchildren: Malika Graham, Maiya Graham, Alexis Clark, Samual Clark, Caleb McLaren, Jaydan McLaren, Jasmine McLaren, Hannah Abell, Connor Abell, Chelsea Craig, Charlton Craig, Kara Craig and Alex Craig. She was preceded in death by her father, William Nicholas and a brother-in-law, Larry Zeiger. Funeral services will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday, June 11th, 2015 at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, Indiana. Friends will be received from 2:00pm until the time of the services Thursday. Burial will follow at a later date at Bremen Cemetery. The family wishes that memorial contributions be made in Katy’s name to The American Cancer Society.
Iola M. Muhme, 87, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away on Thursday May 28, 2015, in Hospice House of South Bend.
Iola was born on July 14, 1927 in Mishawaka, IN, to the late Walter and May (Wettergren) Baney. Iola was married to Harry Muhme on September 6, 1947, who preceded her in death on February 27, 2012. She is survived by her children; James (June) Muhme, of South Bend, IN, Susan (Stan) Garber, of Elkhart, IN, Betsy (Mike) Nestor, of Wakeman, OH, Judy (Rick) Stowers, of Mishawaka, IN, grandchildren, Michael, Jason Muhme, Amy Ward, Jennifer Robinson, Stephanie, Christopher Stowers, Angela Maki, Aaron Nestor, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Iola was also preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Muhme, and her brother, Merle Baney.
Iola loved to travel overseas and traveled all of but 2 or 3 states in America.
A graveside service for Iola will be held on Saturday May 30, 2015 at 10 am in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka, IN. Bubb Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Gerald P. (Jerry) Troutfetter, 79, of Mishawaka, IN., passed away at 2:50 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015 in South Bend Hospice House surrounded by his family.
Jerry was born on October 3, 1935 in Wheeling, West Virginia.
On December 23, 1983 in Mishawaka, Jerry married Nancy Johnson, who survives along with two step children, Scott (Susan) Johnson and Stacy (Tim) Stephens all of Mishawaka, three grandchildren, Nicholas Johnson, Mindy (Scott) Lewis and Cory (Sarah) Stephens, one great grandson Gauge all of Mishawaka. He was preceded by a step son, Steven Johnson in 1997.
Jerry was a member of the Diloreto Society in Mishawaka and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
There will be no visitation or services. Cremation will take place.

Heaven was blessed with another amazing angel! Our Dad went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 25, 2015 at home surrounded by family. He was born August 29, 1941 in Carrollton, Kentucky. Dad married the love of his life, Diana Prior on September 7, 1963. He attended Penn High School and served his country as a Military Police Officer in the Army. Dad volunteered on the Harris Township Fire Department, was a church deacon and a member of the Maple City Baptist Church.
Dad retired in 2005 from Verizon as a construction equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife Diana, children, Tammy (Paul) Highland, Tracy Robbins, Tara (Greg) Hunsberger and Ryan Deal. We are all very proud to have been blessed with a wonderful dad. Dad was a loving, caring, compassionate, fun loving man with a heart of gold.
He was an awesome Papaw to eight grandkids, Samantha (Josh) Pratt, Melissa Allen, Stephanie Highland, Megan (Robbie) Allen, Michael Highland, Mitchell Hunsberger, Micaela Smith and Monica Hunsberger, six great grandkids, Breana, Emma, Nevaeh, Chloe, Kiera and Maverick, his siblings, Terry (Marcia) Prior, Ronny Prior, Ann (Jim) Plew, Barbara Gould, Brenda Medley, Paula (Rodney) Royal, Carla (Reggie) Warrick and Doris (Ted) Carlson.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carl Robbins and Lorraine Clewell and a wonderful step father, Don Carpenter, bothers, Bobby Robbins, Dick Carpenter and sister, Carolyn Penn.
If the good Lord’s willin’ and the creeks don’t rise, we will join you in Heaven!
Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 28 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in the mausoleum.
Military rites will be performed.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Center for Hospice or Maple City Baptist Church.
